We assess the complexity. You see the price.

Pricing is determined by the complexity of the Office Action. We assess number and complexity of rejections, claims, and prior art references. We assess the case and price accordingly. You'll always know the price before you commit.

Tier When it applies Price Intro Price
Standard Lower rejection complexity, typical claim count, fewer references $791 $494
Advanced Multiple rejection types, larger claim set, more prior art $1,195 $899
Complex High complexity, large claim set, extensive prior art $1,394 $1,097

Intro pricing applies to your first draft. Every order includes a Draft Amendment (Word) + Reviewer Reference Guide. Next business day delivery.

How we classify each Office Action.

Pricing reflects the estimated professional effort required and is pegged to the same factors a firm would use to estimate associate hours.

01 Rejection complexity

The type and number of rejections drive effort most. A single §102 rejection is straightforward. A combination of §101 Alice + §103 multi-reference + §112 requires substantially more analysis.

02 Number of claims

More claims mean more proposed amendments and more tailored remarks. A case with 5 independent claims requires more work than one with 1.

03 Prior art references

Each cited reference requires analysis: what it discloses, where it is weak, and how to distinguish over it. More references means a more complex landscape to navigate.

Have a Question?

Common questions.

Do I have to commit before seeing the draft?

No. You'll receive a description of the draft and the tier assessment before any payment. Payment is via Stripe link. No subscription and no automatic charges.

How does the introductory pricing work?

The introductory price applies to your first draft order. A discount to reduce friction for new customers. After the first draft, standard pricing applies.

Who determines the tier?

We assess the tier based on the Office Action itself. Rejection types, claim count, and prior art references. You'll see the classification before you commit. If you believe a case has been miscategorized, contact us.

What technology areas are covered?

Currently mechanical and software patent applications. Biotech and chemical areas are under consideration. Contact us to discuss cases outside the current scope.

Does this cover Final Office Actions?

Yes. Amendment Inbox covers both Non-Final and Final Office Actions. Restriction Requirements are excluded. They require minimal drafting effort.

What if I don't want to purchase a draft?

No problem. There is no obligation. If the draft isn't right for a particular case, simply decline. Payment is only collected after you choose to proceed.

The draft is already being written.

We monitor USPTO Office Actions as they are issued. When one lands on a case in our pipeline, we get to work immediately.
