This Privacy Policy describes how WhitServe LLC ("WhitServe," "we," "us," or "our"), operating the Amendment Inbox service at www.amendmentinbox.com (the "Site"), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of the Site and our patent prosecution drafting services (the "Service").
Public Patent Data. The core of our Service relies on publicly available data obtained directly from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This includes Office Actions, patent applications, claims, specifications, drawings, cited prior art references, bibliographic data, attorney and firm names, and correspondence addresses. This information is part of the public patent record and is not considered private or confidential data.
Payment Information. When you purchase a draft, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). We do not directly collect, store, or have access to your credit card number or bank account information. Stripe collects payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy. We receive a transaction confirmation, payment intent identifier, and the email address you provide during checkout.
Email Address. We collect your email address when you provide it during the Stripe checkout process or when you contact us via email. Your email address may be used to deliver draft packages, send transaction confirmations, and for follow-up communications about the Service.
Website Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and may use additional analytics tools to collect anonymized usage data about how visitors interact with the Site. This may include pages viewed, time on site, referring URLs, browser type, device type, and general geographic region. This data is used to improve the Site and Service and is not linked to personally identifiable information.
Correspondence. If you contact us by email, we retain the content of your messages and our responses for the purpose of addressing your inquiry and improving the Service.
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
We share information with the following third-party providers solely to operate the Service:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
We retain case records, draft files, and associated data indefinitely. Draft amendments are our own work product, and the underlying case data is derived from public USPTO records. We use retained data to track the quality and accuracy of our drafts by comparing them against publicly filed responses, and to improve the Prosecution Intelligence System over time.
If you wish to have your email address removed from our records, contact us at info@whitserve.com.
The Site may use cookies or similar technologies for essential site functionality, analytics, and payment processing. Third-party services such as Stripe and Vercel may set their own cookies in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information transmitted through the Site, including HTTPS encryption and secure hosting infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Because the Service primarily relies on publicly available USPTO records, most data associated with your case is public information that we do not control.
To exercise any rights related to your personal information (such as your email address), contact us at info@whitserve.com.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site and Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
